From event engagement to owned audience intelligence.

Across EarthX events in 2025 and 2026, BCaster connected physical audiences, livestream viewers, partners and visual content through one participation layer — turning interaction into structured, reusable audience data.

The Challenge

How do you engage people beyond the event floor?

EarthX brings together innovators, organizations, educators and audiences around environmental challenges and sustainable solutions.

But a modern event has more than one audience. People may be inside the venue, watching a livestream from another city or country, participating in educational projects or interacting through partner activations.

The opportunity was bigger than simply generating more content: connect all of those people into one measurable experience and turn participation into useful visual and audience data.

EarthX 2025

Capturing the story behind sustainable innovation.

In 2025, BCaster supported a youth-focused sustainability project where students designed and built Tiny House concepts using recycled and reusable materials.

The valuable story was not only the final result. It was the entire process: ideas, design choices, construction, teamwork and the students' own perspectives.

BCaster provided a structured way to capture that journey through photos and videos instead of allowing the material to become fragmented across individual devices and channels.

EarthX 2026

Connecting the event floor with a global livestream audience.

For the Environmental Experience side event in 2026, BCaster's role expanded from visual documentation into interactive audience engagement.

The goal was to connect the physical event, event partners and remote livestream viewers through the same participation layer.

The Hybrid Participation Loop

01

QR on screen

Livestream viewers saw a BCaster QR code directly in the broadcast.

02

Participate remotely

Scanning opened a mobile web experience with no application download.

03

Content + data

Audience submissions and interaction signals entered the BCaster environment.

04

Back on screen

Curated audience content could return to event screens and the official stream.

Audience Intelligence

The value went beyond UGC.

Every audience interaction can create a richer data point by combining what a participant chooses to share with contextual information generated by the interaction itself.

One Interaction. Multiple Layers of Value.

A photo becomes much more than a photo.

Content+Context+Location+Time+Interests+Engagement+Rights

Together, these signals turn audience participation into an owned, searchable and reusable visual data asset.

Partner Value

From sponsor visibility to measurable participation.

The same participation layer created new opportunities for EarthX partners to collect authentic audience content around their activations.

Instead of measuring value only through logo impressions, partner activations can generate direct interactions, audience responses, campaign-specific first-party data and reusable rights-aware UGC.

The partner is no longer simply visible at the event. The partner can become part of the interaction.

The Results

Two years. Different applications. One visual data engine.

2 years

Continuous collaboration

BCaster powered audience and content experiences at EarthX in both 2025 and 2026.

Hybrid

Physical + digital audience

People at the event and viewers joining remotely could participate through the same platform.

Direct

Owned audience connection

Participation created a direct relationship instead of depending entirely on third-party social platforms.

Reusable

Visual data asset

Content, context, rights and audience signals could remain valuable after the event itself.

The Bigger Opportunity

Turn your event audience into an owned data network.

BCaster connects physical audiences, livestream viewers, partners and visual content through one participation layer — creating value that can continue long after the event itself has ended.

Beyond Views & Impressions

What could your audience tell you?

Turn event participation into visual content, measurable engagement and first-party audience intelligence.
