Website privacy and cookies

Updated 12 October 2026

Controller and scope

BCaster Oy (Finnish business ID 2798841-8) is responsible for processing personal data on www.bcaster.com. Contact contact@bcaster.com for privacy requests. This notice covers our marketing website, analytics and inquiries. Processing in the BCaster platform and customer content is described in the separate service privacy notice.

Optional analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, traffic sources, campaigns and website interactions. This includes cookie identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, visit times and interactions such as booking-button clicks or confirmed form submissions. We use this information to improve our website and communications. Consent is the legal basis.

Google Analytics loads only after you accept. Declining does not prevent browsing, inquiries or bookings. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or message fields from our forms to analytics. This implementation does not use advertising personalization or Google Signals. Analytics data should not be considered completely anonymous.

Stored preferences and cookies

You can change your choice using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Withdrawal stops future measurement and deletes this website's analytics cookies. It does not retroactively delete previously sent data. GA4 user and event data retention is set to two months; Google's separate retention practices apply to aggregate reports.

Inquiries, emails and appointments

Contact details, messages and any selected plan submitted through our forms are sent to ActiveCampaign so we can respond and manage the business relationship. Processing is based on steps requested before entering a contract or our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries. Newsletter subscriptions are handled separately; submitting an inquiry does not itself subscribe you to a newsletter. Marketing email links may contain campaign labels and ActiveCampaign click tracking. Marketing emails include unsubscribe instructions.

Calendly opens only when you select a booking button. It processes booking details and technical information needed to provide the service under its own policies. Any additional Calendly cookie choices are made in its interface. Your website analytics choice does not itself consent to other Calendly cookies. Inquiry and booking data is retained for the time needed to handle the request and business relationship; retention is assessed according to its purpose.

Providers and international transfers

We use Google Analytics, ActiveCampaign and Calendly for the purposes described above. Providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Applicable transfer mechanisms and safeguards depend on the service agreements and data protection law. Contact us or consult the provider notices below for further information.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data and, where applicable, portability or object to processing. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact contact@bcaster.com. You may also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
