BCaster was invited to join the University of North Texas Sports Innovation Space in Frisco in November 2025, marking an important early step in the company’s expansion into the United States sports market.
The Sports Innovation Space at UNT, known as SIS@UNT, supports international sports technology companies entering the US market. It combines the University of North Texas sports business network with access to industry executives, investors, technology partners and emerging talent.
A base inside the Frisco sports ecosystem
Through its SIS@UNT membership, BCaster gained access to shared workspace at The Star District in Frisco, close to the offices and network of Plug and Play Sports Tech.
The Star is home to the Dallas Cowboys’ headquarters and sits at the center of one of the most concentrated sports business ecosystems in the United States. The wider Frisco area also brings together professional teams, sports organizations, venues, investors and technology companies.
The location provides BCaster with a practical base for customer meetings, product demonstrations, partnership development and market-entry work in North Texas.
Networks, programs and access to talent
SIS@UNT members participate in curated programming focused on professional development, networking and company showcases. The program connects its members with advisors and industry leaders who can provide market insight, mentorship and introductions across the American sports industry.
Membership also provides access to students from UNT’s Sport Entertainment Management programs for projects, internships and future recruitment. This creates opportunities to combine BCaster’s technology with local market knowledge and sports business expertise.
“Entering the US sports market requires more than occasional visits. It requires a local base, trusted relationships and people who understand how the industry operates. SIS@UNT gave BCaster a place inside that ecosystem.”Janne Neuvonen, Founder and CEO of BCaster
Supporting BCaster’s sports technology strategy
BCaster helps sports organizations collect photos and videos from fans, teams, cameras and connected systems and turn that content into rights-managed, searchable and reusable visual data.
The platform can support fan engagement, sponsor activations, event documentation, audience intelligence and operational visual workflows. Joining SIS@UNT gave BCaster a stronger foundation for developing these use cases with US sports organizations and technology partners.
The Frisco membership became an early building block in BCaster’s broader North American expansion and partner-led growth strategy.
